Connecting
What is the server address?
play.fraktal-mmo.fr
Which Minecraft version do I need?
Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.4.
Can I play on Bedrock (consoles, phones)?
No: Fraktal is a Java Edition server only.
Do I have to accept the resource pack?
Yes: the server offers it when you connect. It dresses the menus, the items and the monsters.
Do I need mods?
No. Sodium, Iris and Distant Horizons make the game prettier or smoother, but they are never required.
The game
Where do I start?
On the Isle of Awakening: you arrive there the first time you connect, the Veilleur teaches you the essentials, then you wake up in Arkendis.
There, your quest journal (slot 9 of your hotbar, or /quete) tells you where to go, and /tuto opens the tutorial book again.
Is the server free?
Yes, Fraktal is free.
Is there an anti-cheat?
Yes, a home-made one, in the game since 20 October. It warns the team when something looks wrong, and a human makes the call: no automatic bans.
I found a bug, what do I do?
In game, type /bug followed by what happened: the team gets it with your position. You can also report it on the Discord.
The beta
I played the alpha: do I get my character back?
No. The beta starts from scratch for everyone: no alpha character carries over.
What happens to my progress after the beta?
The conditions after the beta will be announced on the Discord.
The store
Does the store give an in-game advantage?
No. The store will only sell cosmetics: style, never power.
